Tekno is suffering serious aliment; may not sing again

Nigerian music star Augustine Kelechi, aka Tekno, took to his Twitter page to reveal that life has been very difficult for him following the recent announcement by his management which revealed that the artiste can no longer sing or perform for now after a temporal damage to his vocal box due to strain from overtime performances . This is after his recent health challenges were revealed.


Tekno who is going through a tough phase right now is not hiding it from his fans. A few days ago, it was revealed that the versatile singer had damaged his vocal cords and thus, is unable to sing or engage in any performance.

Tekno wrote this on his twitter page yesterday:


Music executive, Ubi Franklin revealed this on Instagram and asked his fans to pray for him during this hard time. This is coming weeks after the singer took to Instagram to ask his fans to pray for him that he was receiving treatment for an undisclosed illness.

Prior to the announcemet of the cause of his ill health, the music star had already cancealed his bookings. Tekno The ‘Pana’ crooner, who shared this on his Instagram page, on Thursday also announced that he would be taking some time to fully recover before getting back to making music. He wrote @teknoofficial, “I have been away and on treatment, please don’t be upset that I can’t make it to shows I have been booked for.” Tekno added that he is hoping to get back to what he loves doing the most as soon as possible, pleaded for fans’ prayers and apologised for the inconveniences caused.



“I am taking time out to fully recover and hopefully get back to doing what I love most soonest. I apologise, and if you can please pray for me, God watch over us all, thank you.” Following the announcement, fans and fellow celebrities including Tiwa Savage, Falz and Kizz Daniel, took to Instagram to wish Tekno a speedy recovery. it would be recalled that in April, 2017, Tekno was forced to cancel booked shows after he was admitted in an American hospital for acid reflux. Ghana Deports 17 Nigerian 'Yahoo Boys'

No fewer than 17 Nigerians have been deported from Ghana for allegedly committing offences in the country, involving in cyber crimes, known in Nigeria as 'Yahoo Yahoo'. According to the Ghana Immigration Service (GIS), it said 29 people were arrested in Ho, the Volta Regional capital but 17 were found involved in criminal activities. The Ho Municipal Police Commander, DSP Anthony Danso, said after their arrest, they immediately handed the suspects over to immigration service to determine their status and finding shows that only 12 out of the 29 Nigerians were found to be legal residents of Ho. Danso continued that those that were found to be legal residents were immediately freed to continue their various work and activities, adding that some house owners in the country are afraid to lease their apartments to some Nigerians. Item recovered by the police are 20 mobile phones, 33 laptops, two television sets and other electronic gadgets.
